Currently Kansasville Fire and Rescue Department provides services to the just over 54 square miles in the following areas. - Town of Dover - Fire, Rescue and EMS Services
- Town of Brighton - Fire, Rescue and EMS First Responder Services
In addition Kansasville Fire department has an Automatic Mutual Aid aggreement for structure fires in Union Grove and Yorkville. Any time a structure fire is report Kansasville Fire Department is called automatically to assist the Union Grove Yorkville Fire Department. In return they also respond to our reports of Structure fire.
The department is also part of the MABAS System (Mutual Aid Box Alarm System) in which we provide mutual aid services to fire departments in our surrounding area. MABAS is a mutual aid measure that may be used for deploying fire, rescue and emergency medical services personnel in a multi-jurisdictional and/or multi-agency response. As a member we are not only called upon to help our neighboring departments but we may also call upon them for help. |
